The antichirst according the bible

The antichrist according to the bible
Analysing the scriptures

Rules of interpretation

“Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation

2 Petter 1:20

“And these things, brothers, I have in a figure transferred to myself and to Apollos for your sakes; that you might learn in us not to think of men above that which is written, that no one of you be puffed up for one against another”

1 Corínthians 4:6

The antichrist

The world antichrist (ἀντίχριστος) is Christ more negation prefix ant. Means anyone who opposes Christ. antichrist, either one who puts himself in the place of, or the enemy (opponent) of the Messiah.

The word antichrist appears only four times in the bible, all in John's letters:

“Little children, it is the last time: and as you have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time”

1 John 2:18

“Who is a liar but he that denies that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist, that denies the Father and the Son”

1 John 2:22

“And every spirit that confesses not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof you have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world

1 John 4:3

"For many deceivers are entered into the world, who confess not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh. This is a deceiver and an antichrist”

2 João 1:7

What do we perceive in these passages?

John says there were many antichrists.
The antichrist was already present at the time of John
They denied that Jesus had come in the flesh

Can I apply this passage for a future time? No, Otherwise I would be particularizing a prophecy and going beyond what is written.

So who were these antichrists John refers to?

In the first century there was a sect that separated from the apostles and began to preach that Jesus had not come in the flesh, physically. This sect was called docetism.

Docetism in the early church

Docetism. Docetism, (from Greek dokein, “to seem”), Christian heresy and one of the earliest Christian sectarian doctrines, affirming that Christ did not have a real or natural body during his life on earth but only an apparent or phantom one. ... They consequently denied Christ's Resurrection and Ascension into heaven

Notice that John's antichrists came out of the Christian milieu:

"Little children, it is the last time: and as you have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time. They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would no doubt have continued with us: but they went out, that they might be made manifest that they were not all of us”

1 John 2:18,19

So John was fighting the sect in his day and was opposed to the earthly Christ. John was not talking about any future events. Who says yes is going against what the Bible itself says.

The woman and the dragon

The woman and the dragon

The woman in the sky

In revelation 12 John saw a pregnant woman in the heaven:

"And there appeared a great wonder in heaven; a woman clothed with the sun, and the moon under her feet, and on her head a crown of twelve stars: And she being with child cried, travailing in birth, and pained to be delivered"
Revelation 12:1,2

Some people think that the woman is Mary. Another peolple think is the church. But the both is wrong.

Womam is a reference to Israel. Because a covenant is like a marriage, as we see before in previous videos:
"But as a wife that commits adultery, which takes strangers instead of her husband!"
Ezequiel 16:32

The woman and the dragon is a simbology of the woman and the serpent:
"And I will put enmity between you (SERPENT) and the woman (ISRAEL), and between your seed (ENIMIES) and her seed (JEWISH); it shall bruise your head, and you shall bruise his heel"
Gênesis 3:15
And the dragon of revelation is the old serpent:
"And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years"
Revelation 20:2

The word serpent is a euphemism to enimie on the bible, like beast:
"These great beasts, which are four, are four kings, which shall arise out of the earth"
Daniel 7:17
"If after the manner of men I have fought with beasts at Ephesus, what advantages it me, if the dead rise not? let us eat and drink; for to morrow we die"
1 Corínthians 15:32
So, the dragon means a enimie of Israel, Rome. And the dragon stop in front the woman like the serpente and the woman.
  The woman and the serpent
The woman and the old serpent
"And I will put enmity between you (SERPENTand the woman (ISRAEL)and between your seed and her seed; it shall bruise your headand you shall bruise his heel"
Gênesis 3:15
"and the dragon (OLD SERPENT) stood before the woman (ISRAEL) which was ready to be delivered, for to devour her child as soon as it was born"

Apocalipse 12:4

That woman can't be the church because the woman got a baby jesus. There was not chuch before jesus was born.
The woman is the same woman of the dream of Jacob, Israel:

          Dream of Israel
              Vision of John
And he dreamed yet another dreamand told it his brothers, and saidBehold, I have dreamed a dream more; andbeholdthe sun and the moon and the eleven stars made obeisance to me.  Gênesis 37:9
"And there appeared a great wonder in heavenwoman clothed with the sunand the moon under her feetand on her head a crown of twelve stars: And she being with child criedtravailing in birthand pained to be delivered"
Revelation 12:1,2

The twelve stars are the twelve tribes of Israel. And the woman was pregnant with labor pains. This is a picture of language. It means that the woman, Israel, would receive the messiah with labor pains, as the prophets had said:

Like as a woman with child, that draws near the time of her delivery, is in pain, and cries out in her pangs; so have we been in your sight, O LORD”

Isaíah 26:17

“And they shall be afraid: pangs and sorrows shall take hold of them; they shall be in pain as a woman that travails: they shall be amazed one at another; their faces shall be as flames. Behold, the day of the LORD comes, cruel both with wrath and fierce anger, to lay the land desolate: and he shall destroy the sinners thereof out of it.

Isaíah 13:8,9

""The sorrows of a travailing woman shall come on him: he is an unwise son; for he should not stay long in the place of the breaking forth of children"

Hosea 13:13

If you don’t believe, Paul said the same:

“For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction comes on them, as travail on a woman with child; and they shall not escape”

1 Tessalonian 5:3

Israel received the messiah with labor pains, oppressed by the Roman Empire, which even crucified Jesus.
